This module examines the professional responsibilities of Occupational Therapists working with assistance animal partnerships. Students explore ethical practice, interdisciplinary collaboration, evidence-based decision-making and practitioner wellbeing. The module emphasises professional accountability, critical appraisal of behavioural information, reflective practice and strategies for maintaining resilience and sustainable careers. Together, these concepts prepare students to apply behavioural science ethically, responsibly and collaboratively throughout professional practice.
