Prerequisites
The Advanced Canine Science endorsement is a WAFA Tier 4 Professional Endorsement and is intended for experienced professionals with an established foundation in animal and human practice.
To ensure participants possess the prerequisite knowledge required for advanced scientific study, applicants must have successfully completed a WAFA Tier 3 Professional Credential, or demonstrate an equivalent level of knowledge and experience through a Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) or equivalency assessment approved by WAFA.
As a Tier 4 endorsement, this course builds upon existing knowledge of animal behaviour, welfare, health, training, legislation, ethics and professional practice. Participants are expected to already understand these foundational concepts, allowing the course to focus on advanced canine biology and scientific principles rather than introductory professional practice.
