WAFA Logos and Post Nominals

Logos and Post Nominals

Graduating from a WAFA-endorsed credential or professional endorsement pathway gives you the right to use official WAFA post-nominals, digital badges, and logos to acknowledge your achievement and ongoing commitment to professional excellence.

These identifiers are not just symbols — they communicate to clients, colleagues, funding bodies and the Australian public that you meet WAFA’s nationally recognised standards for safety, ethics, and competence in the working animal sector.

Why Use Them?

  Examples:
  • Professional Credibility: They demonstrate your qualifications and alignment with WAFA’s Code of Ethics and national standards.
  • Trust and Transparency: They help the public, clients, and partner organisations recognise your verified credentials at a glance.
  • Sector Recognition: They distinguish you as part of a trusted, peer-reviewed professional network committed to animal welfare and human safety.
  • Marketing and Visibility: They help promote your work, attract clients or collaborators, and add professionalism to your brand or business.

Where You Can Use Them

WAFA logos, post-nominals, and digital badges may be used in both print and digital formats, including:

  • Email footers and digital signatures
  • Business cards, brochures, posters and flyers
  • Professional websites and blogs
  • CVs, grant applications, and project proposals
  • Training materials and reports

Always use WAFA-issued logos and badges as provided, without editing or distortion, and only while your credential and membership remain active and in good standing.

Verification and Integrity

To protect the integrity of the sector and reduce the risk of misrepresentation, all WAFA post-nominals and digital badges should be verified via the WAFA public registry. This allows clients, employers, and organisations to confirm that your qualification is current, genuine, and WAFA-approved.

Unauthorised use or misrepresentation of WAFA credentials may result in disciplinary action, removal from the public registry and/or criminal or civil penalties.

The following logos and postnominals are currently in use. It is important to note that postnominals may only be used by individuals, whilst digital badges may be used by individuals or organisations.
